POSITIONS REQUIREMENT

Potential candidates must have at least 12 months of experience as a Jade Drive assistant teacher.

Potential class teachers should be qualified in Montessori education with a recognized diploma (AMI/MMI).

Candidates who possess non-AMI diplomas/degrees should be willing to undergo Montessori training, which the school will offer.

Must be an excellent communicator who is fluent in both English and Sinhala.

Proficiency in Tamil (optional) will be an added advantage.

Must be respectful, positive, energetic, and passionate about working with children.

Must be able to take charge, think on their feet, and handle difficult situations.

Must be able to lead and motivate a small team effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Help to establish and maintain Montessori classroom culture, paying particular attention to the needs of the students.

Handles all daily routines and help maintain a creative, aesthetically pleasing, and challenging Montessori-prepared environment.

Observing and documenting children's development and work.

Create and present lessons and presentations according to our weekly theme.

Participate in weekly staff meetings.

Participate in all school events and conferences.

Support our family-friendly environment.
